The Pennyrile Children’s Advocacy Center is a small, non-profit organization that was established in 2002 with the knowledge that no one agency or professional can prevent and treat the crime of child abuse. It takes a multi disciplinary team of professionals in law enforcement, child protective services, medical, legal and mental health to work together in order to best advocate for the rights of these victims. The Pennyrile Children’s Advocacy Center serves 9 counties in the Pennyrile Region to include: Christian, Caldwell, Crittenden, Hopkins, Livingston, Lyon, Muhlenberg, Todd, and Trigg. We offer a child friendly environment that ensures a child’s safety, health and well being. The PCAC provides support and specialized services to children, non-offending caregivers, social services workers, and law enforcement in reports of child sexual assault. The mission is made possible through the collaborative efforts of various professionals that must intervene when a child discloses abuse. It is the mission of center to minimize any additional trauma to a child by coordinating these services at one location where the needs of the child remain the primary priority!!
Please help the smallest of voices to be heard by supporting The Pennyrile Children’s Advocacy Center because one victim is too many!
