STATED MISSIONThe mission of The Children’s Advocacy Center of Green River District is to reduce the traumatic effects of abuse; protect children from maltreatment; seek justice for child victims; investigate abuse as a team and strengthen our community’s ability to nurture children, while keeping the comfort and safety of the child the first priority. SERVICES OFFERED
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTSChild victim advocacy and counseling services are available for any child victim of abuse, neglect, dependency or domestic violence. The Children’s Advocacy Center does not intervene in family crisis situations concerning children nor does it provide advocates to act on behalf of families who are seeking custody. Please contact us for Crisis Counseling and Support if we may be of assistance. The Children’s Advocacy Center houses the CASA Program. CASA’s are special advocates appointed by the District and Family Court for children in the court system. CASA volunteers cannot act as independent agents for families.
