non-profit organization, serving as a state-wide
membership association of the Children’s Advocacy
Centers( CACs) in Kentucky. KACAC seeks to
lead Kentucky in promoting the best coordinated
response to child abuse through the
development, growth, and continuation of Children’s

House Bill 8 Protective Orders for victims of dating violence, sexual assault, and stalking passed through the Kentucky House of Representatives with a 98-0 vote on February 12, 2015. It will now move on to the Senate. For more details, please visit PROTECT's Facebook page.
KACAC Launches a State-Wide Prevention Program Funded by the Child Victims Trust Fund
KACAC is pleased to announce the launch of a state-wide initiative to conduct 150 Darkness to Light’s Stewards of Children trainings in all 15 area development districts in Kentucky. Designed to increase knowledge and offer practical prevention, this important program utilizes an evidence-informed curriculum consisting of 5 Steps to Protecting our Children.
